Fishing with Saranda will be undeniably one the greatest experiences of any fisherman. Lake Guri is one of Venezuela’s best kept secrets, offering explosive Pavon fishing.

Another target in Lake Guri is the powerful Payara. These prehistoric fish with their large teeth are definitely the “King of the Lake”. It is highly advisable to make an extra trip to fish these powerful predators.

Saranda strives to maintain the comfort of the fisherman while on Lake Guri. We have a full fleet of boats, 23 feet in length with aluminum hull and 175 hp jet twin engine. They are equipped with electric trolling motors, GPS, fish finder, communication via radio, CD stereos and a retractable roof. Along with each boat we send a large ice filled cooler with all your favorite beverages and snacks.

We do limit each boat to two fishermen per boat, which leaves plenty of room for your fishing enjoyment. All Saranda guides have extensive experience and are experts at locating fish all over the areas of the reservoir.

Saranda is a proud member of the American Sport Fishing Association and the International Game Fish Association. We participate in the Program for the Certification of Scales and Weight from the IGFA. Guests that catch a world record fish can be recorded in the book of world records!
